Graveyard Dead Brings 'em in!

It's Sept. 1 2003 First day of early goose season. In OHIO My wife, son, and myself headed out for are first goose hunt of the year.When we got to the place we were going to hunt it started to rain so we left there and went to a pasture field. We set out a dozen decoy's, hide in the corn field and waited.A flock came in silent I made a couple calls on the GRAVEYARD DEAD goose call here they come. BANG one fell.No big deal any call could do that.BUT STARTED CALLING AGAIN THEY TURN AND COME OVER AGAIN.BANG ONE FALLS. OK MAYBE WE HAVE SOMETHING HERE. I START CALLING AGAIN THEY TURN AND COME BACK AGAIN.BANG A THIRD ONE FALLS. Then they were gone. When I sent Ricky Girl (my dog) after them the first one was banded the second one was banded and believe it or not the third one was banded. WHAT A DAY.Later a group came over and my wife and boy took one apiece. THANK YOU WATERFOWLER.COM FOR OFFERING A GREAT CALL FOR A GREAT PRICE. The Temp was -9 and that is with out the wind chill. My Timber Mallard from CuttDown Games calls didn't freeze up once. I don't know how because all the other calls we tried to use froze up, so the next day the only call that I brought along and the only one we used was the Timber Mallard in the bourbon/water color. Just thought you would enjoy that story. By the way thanks for the call today I'm looking forward to getting your magazine and some more Cuttdown calls in my bag. I was also wondering if you have and decals for trucks or stickers. I'm in the process of starting a couple of things one of them is getting my truck in full camo and putting stickers of proven products on my truck. Great call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From Joseph Zinsmeyer of Lubbock, Texas on 9/16/2003. I got one of these calls from the cutt down guys at the TTHA show in Ft. Worth. One of the best molded calls I have heard. Really loud but still can get the low end. This one will stay on my lanyard. This call has what you have been looking for, period! From Duckmeister of NE, Alabama on 5/23/2003. I picked up a Dead Timber call by Cutt Down calls year before last. This is the only call i have that will consistently hunt after hunt put ducks on the water and over the decoys. As for the various brands of calls, you name it and probably have owned it. The amount of air required to get a squeak out of the typical call is immense compared to these calls. You can push just a touch of air through this call and it sounds great. Give the guys at Cutt Down a call. I have called and talked with Dave many times and he always seems to have time to talk about your calling style and just "exactly" you are looking for. Trust me you wont be dissapointed with a Cutt Down call. We all know that in 9 out of 10 "hunting" situations you dont need all that competition stage mess, just some low raspy quacks and maybe some acorn feed chatter. Think about it. My first season with this call my average ducks per hunter was great at 4.8 birds or 21 ducks per hunt. Best goose call on the market by far!!!! It has crisp clean sound, easy to control pitch change, and easy volume control. I love this call. It sounds so real it will blow your mind! I used the Patriot and diaphrams to the tune of 17 gobblers over the past four days in the decoys in Oklahoma and Kansas. Three of us (two clients and me) bagged eight birds total. Two were jakes, but the others were all over eight inch beards and one bird of mine had 9 3/4 with 1.25 inch spurs and weighed 25 pounds. He is at the taxidermist now. I will send a few photos soon, thanks again. Brady Hi Marcus, Have ya'll done any good? We don't have many ducks or geese, but we've done ok with what we have. Two of us killed 41 ducks, mostly mallards, and 4 big Canadas in four hunts this week. Killed 3 of the big Canadas this morning. My prime spot is dry as a bone, so I'm looking for new places here in OK. Just wanted you to know that I'm beginning to learn to use your goose call. I need a lot of practice, but the three in the photo seemed to like it. Did you have a chance to do any filming this year? Its the loudest and best sounding call I have on my lanyard. The one I have is not on the website, and I cant even remember the name of it. The package said that it was a new call. Its wood and plastic...(if that helps). But anyhow, it's great! You can blow it hard or soft or just about whatever you want to do with it. I would like to come down sometime and look at some calls in person before next season. If that is possible, just send me a email back. Im already antsy for next season and its still 9 months away.
